Q: When will Jay be taking new clients/appointments ?

A: Jays next booking block will start on August 1st (all subscribers can book in at anytime) 

Q: how do I subscribe and what are the benifits?

A: you can become a subscriber via jays instagram, subscribing is the best way to ensure an appointment. You will not only get first dibs on all books opening but also all subscribers are offered any last minute openings, as well as first dibs on travel dates. Subscribing also allows 24/7 access to pre drawn designs as well as limited merch and content. As well as a lower deposit price.

Q: Is there a booking/deposit required?

A: yes indeed a deposit is required when making an appointment with Jay. The deposit is $500 and goes towards the price of your tattoo. The deposit for subscribers is $300 and goes towards the total of the tattoo. Deposits can be split between sessions if preferred or will be applied to the last session. All deposits are non refundable.

Q: What are Jays rates?

A: Full day 7 hours $1800 
     Half day 3.5 hours $900

     Large scale projects can be at hourly ($280) or at day/half day rates

Q: What if I need to reschedule?

A: Reschedules are understandable things happen! Please be sure to contact us before changing your appointment date on the calendar as there is a $100 rescheduling fee to be paid before selecting new dates

Q: What is creative freedom?

A: Creative freedom would mean giving a the subject matter you want and putting the full design process in jays hands. Please be sure when going this route to know Jay will ask input on what colors are preferred but redesigning the day of the appointment is not possible if the design is not something you are wanting we can schedule a new date to allow for major design changes. Small changes can be made the day of of course.

Q: Can I bring a friend to my appointment?

A: Of course feel free to bring a support buddy!

Q: What should I bring for my appointment?

A: Anything you need to be comfortable! Feel free to bring snacks, drinks, a blanket, pillow headphones game system tablet etc

Q: What payments are accepted?

A: Cash is of course preferred but Apple Pay, Zelle, PayPal and credit card (5% processing fee for card) can all be accepted 

Q: Can I use numbing cream before I arrive?

A: Please refrain from using numbing cream before speaking with Jay directly (feel free to reach out via email)

Q: Can u see my design before my appointment?

A: This is a case by case scenario. To protect from stolen artwork we do not send out every design before the appointment. If you would like to see the design please email us that way we can work something out. Also keep in mind Jay does all designs about a week out from the appointment date.

Q: What if I change my mind on what I want before my appointment?

A: That is of course okay! We just please ask to let us know as soon as you have decided thus that way we can make sure it is still something Jay is able to execute in her style. If you want until the day of to inform us we will unfortunately need to reschedule for a new date to prepare the new design as it does take time to workout a new design which wouldn’t allow for a full day to tattoo.

Q: Does Jay do cover ups?

A: Cover ups are on a case by case basis please email a photo of the tattoo to be covered up in good lighting in a straight in view and we will get back with you.

Q: What dates are available?

A: Jay works wednesday-Saturday all appointments start at 11:30am. If these dates do not work for your calendar mondays and Tuesday’s are available at a $200 extra fee as these days are reserved for days off and art days
